Holdem Lesson - How To Be An Aggressive Player

It's easy to be an aggressive player once you know how. In this Holdem lesson I'm going to give you 3 simple steps on how to do it right now.

Holdem Lesson Step 1

First, you aren't allowed to check and you aren't allowed to call. I know you can within the rules but for this aggressive strategy to work you have to purge these two actions from you brain.

Don't even think about calling. Don't think about check-raising. Don't even consider calling just to see the flop, even if you can!

Holdem Lesson Step 2

Now, for the bet. You are going to bet three times the big blind. That's it. We are keeping this simple enough to be so easy to follow anyone can do it. When you want to bet you bet 3 times the big blind.

So really all the time your only option is bet 3 times the big blind, or fold. That's it. If you want to play you play, just bet 3xBB. If you don't want to play fold

Holdem Lesson Step 3

This is a trick step but I will cover it because it's important. So what do you do when someone raises you?

No matter what they raise you, your options are to bet 3 times the big blind, or fold. Don't call them! I told you it was a trick question.

So what if they all-in you?

If you have less or the same as them, you can call their all-in or fold. If you have more than them, you either call their all-in and bet an extra 3 times the big blind (for the rest of the table) or you fold.

This is a super simple way to become an aggressive play. But do you know what? It works! Try it next time. This quick Holdem lesson covered 3 easy steps to become an aggressive Holdem player!
